Neijiang Swine Breeding Base--Sichuan

Neijiang, located in Sichuan province, is a big agricultural city, and a productive base of Chinese excellent local pig "Neijian Pig".

At present, Neijiang has 12 pig slaughtering and processing enterprises, the annual slaughter and processing capacity is 4.5 million pigs, cold storage capacity is 23,000 tons. In 2007, there have 4.3 million of pigs slaughtered, 320,000 tons of pork production, animal husbandry output value of 6.094 billion yuan, of which 3.681 billion yuan of pigs output, livestock production value accounted for 51.4% of agricultural output value, and live pigs industry  will prop up half the sky of local agriculture industry.
