Hulunbeier Wind Power Farm--Inner Mongolia

Hulunbeier Wind Power project plans to make the install scale to 150 thousand kilo watts in the area of Hulunbeier, the project will be finished in 3 stages.

As the 1st engineer project, the site of Guohua Xinyouqi is located at north of Xinbaerhu Youqi , the city of Hulunbeier, Inner Mongolia. At the distance about 5 kilo meters of mole town a la tan e where the Qi located. The project with an installed capacity of 49.5 thousand kilo watts was funded with about RMB 5 billion.

The beginning of operation of the project not only created the record of the earliest start, but also marked the 1st Wind Power technology home-made and the 1st project of smooth operation of Wind Power machinery put into operation in the north area of low temperature. On Jan. 22, 2007, it was awarded “prize of big project venture” by Hulunbeier municipal government.

On 14th of Feb, 2007, it got the prize of “Good example of Wind Power of Inner Mongolia autonomous region” by quality supervision center of basic construction of Inner Mongolia. On 15th of March, 2007, it got the prize of “ top 10 trust worthy enterprise” by commerce bureau of Hulunbeier city.

From 4th of Nov, 2006 to 1st of July, 2007, since it began to put into operation, it has realized the target of operation safely for 238 days, the electricity generated to the breakthrough of 11.84 million Kwh, the electricity on wire netting 11.73 million Kwh. Now, the Wind Power enterprise has been set up, which is under modern management and well operation, it also set up a good image at the area of border town.

Hulunbeier Wind Power Farm belong to Guohua (Hulunbeier) Wind Power Co., Ltd, which was established on March 15th of 2006 with the approval by Hulunbeier commerce bureau. Xinyouqi Wind Power farm is the 1st project executed in the north area of China.

Guohua (Hulunbeier) Wind Power Co., Ltd was the subsidiary stock holding company of Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd (the “Guohua Investment”). It’s Chinese-foreign joint ventured enterprise ventured by Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd (75%) and ShenHua International (HONGKONG) (25%) .The registered asset is RMB142.96 million and the total venture amounts to RMB408.47 million.
