Gonghe goose Breeding Area--Jiangsu

Gonghe Town of Hongze County, located in Jiangsu Province, is nationally renowned for its "Four Seasons goose township." Hongze County, relying on Hongze lake's natural resources of rich plants, raised 11 million Four Seasons geese in 2008, goose breeding farmers accounted for 40% of total rural households in Hongze county. In Gonghe Town, there have 10,000 farmers breed 5.3 million Four season geese, which accounted for 70% of total households in Sihe town, and goose breeding has become the main income of the local farmers. At present, Sihe town has the largest goose breeder breeding farm of east China - Hongze Lake goose farm, with an annual output of 2 million geese.
