Dollar changes hands in lower 108-yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 108-yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, marginally lower than its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 108.34-35 yen compared with 108.42-52 yen in New York, and 108.95-96 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1259-1259 dollars and 121.98-99 yen against 1.1245-1255 dollars and 121.98-122.08 yen in New York, and 1.1214-1215 dollars and 122.18-22 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
