Malaysia palm oil stocks fall to 2.42 mln tonnes in June

Malaysia, the world second largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stockpiles ease 0.97 percent month-on-month to 2.42 million tonnes in June, official data showed Wednesday.
Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) statistics showed that the country's crude palm oil (CPO) production also decreased by 9.17 percent month-on-month to 1.52 million tonnes.
Meanwhile, palm oil exports declined 19.35 percent month-on-month to 1.38 million tonnes.
Although Malaysia's palm oil exports to China fell to 107,634 tonnes in June, from 127,155 tonnes in May, its total export for first half rose 16.32 percent year-on-year to 1.01 million tonnes.
