Dollar changes hands around 106.42 yen level in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 106.42 yen level in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 106.42-43 yen compared with 106.46-56 yen in New York and 107.09-11 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1312-1312 dollars and 120.39-43 yen against 1.1304-1314 dollars and 120.36-46 yen in New York and 1.1301-1303 dollars and 121.02-06 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
