Popular throughout the Dai region, represented by peacock dance in Ruili County and Mengding in Gengma County, there are many professional artists who make a living by jumping peacock dance. They imitate peacocks: flying down mountains, walking in forests, drinking water, chasing and playing, dragging wings, shaking wings, spreading wings, climbing branches, resting branches, opening screens, flying, etc. They jump out of colorful dance movements and sculptural dance shapes.
