American Airline’s profit falls 10.9% in Q4

 American Airlines posted a dip in fourth-quarter profit yesterday due to higher costs as it projected stronger-than-expected 2018 profit because of strong demand. 

The US carrier reported fourth-quarter earnings of US$258 million, down 10.9 percent from the year-ago period. Revenues rose 8.3 percent to US$10.6 billion.
