Indonesia posts 94 mln USD foreign capital outflow

The Indonesian central bank, Bank Indonesia, announced here Friday that the foreign capital outflow from the country's financial market was recorded at 1.33 trillion rupiahs (about 94 million U.S dollars) in the past week.

Head of the Communication Department of Bank Indonesia, Erwin Haryono, said the figure was obtained from the sales on the government securities market up to 0.96 trillion rupiahs (about 67.87 million U.S dollars) and on the stock market 0.37 trillion rupiahs (about 26.16 million U.S dollars) during Dec. 7-10.

Meanwhile, foreign capital outflows from January to Dec. 10, 2020, were recorded at 143.76 trillion rupiahs (about 10.16 billion U.S. dollars).
