Hyundai to recall over 47,000 imported vehicles in China

                    BEIJING, March 22  -- Hyundai Motor Group (China) Ltd. will recall 47,398 imported vehicles in China due to safety hazards, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation.
The recall involves 43,712 imported Santafe vehicles manufactured between Sept. 14, 2006, and Sept. 1, 2009, and 3,686 imported Sorento and VQ series, made between Aug. 30, 2006 and Nov. 27, 2008, and between Nov. 21, 2006 and Oct. 31, 2008, respectively.
The power supply mode for the ABS modules of the affected vehicles are defective, posing safety hazards, said the administration.
The recall will start on June 30, 2020. The company will fix the defective parts free of charge.
