Adjudication rule database launched for IPR court judges

A database of adjudication rules in intellectual property right (IPR) cases was launched Thursday to help judges know the rules better.

The "Zhiji" system, developed by the Intellectual Property Court of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), can produce search results in the form of mind maps or lists of adjudication rules to show a systematic knowledge structure.

The system is expected to help unify judicial standards for technology-related IPR cases, improve the quality and efficiency of trials and enhance judicial credibility, said SPC vice president Luo Dongchuan.
