Dollar changes hands in upper 108 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 108 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 108.79-80 yen compared with 108.80-90 yen in New York and 108.85-86 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1153-1153 dollars and 121.34-35 yen against 1.1145-1155 dollars and 121.31-41 yen in New York and 1.1121-1123 dollars and 121.05-09 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
