U.S. crude oil inventories increase slightly last week

The American Petroleum Institute (API) on Tuesday reported a build of 0.907 million barrels in the U.S. crude oil inventories for the week ending Sept. 28.


The institute reported a build of 2.903 million barrels in oil inventories for the previous week.


U.S. oil prices declined on Tuesday on forecasts of higher commercial crude oil stocks last week in the United States.


The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery weakened 0.07 U.S. dollar to settle at 75.23 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Meanwhile, Brent oil price for December delivery lost 0.18 dollar to 84.8 dollars per barrel.
