SHANGHAI’S Pudong New Area awards

SHANGHAI’S Pudong New Area yesterday awarded 10 outstanding company officials and entrepreneurs for their contributions to Pudong’s economic growth in 2016.

The winners are led by Jiang Liping, chief engineer of Commercial Aircraft Corp of China who led the development of China’s home-grown C919 single-aisle passenger aircraft, and Cui Lijian, head of Shanghai Zhicheng City Pipe Co that is responsible for the construction of most of the underground pipeline for Shanghai’s subway systems and infrastructure.
