Number of passengers using air transport in N. Macedonia up 15.1 pct in Q2

The number of passengers using air transport in the second quarter of 2019 in North Macedonia grew by 15.1 percent year on year, the State Statistics office (SSO) reported on Tuesday.
According to the SSO official data, the number of passengers using road transport in the second quarter of 2019 decreased by 20.3 percent year on year.
In this period, a decrease was registered as well in the number of passengers using urban-suburban and rail transport, respectively by 1.8 and 0.7 percent year on year.
Compared to the previous quarter, however, an increase was registered in the urban-suburban, rail and air transport, respectively by 1.3 percent, 13.1 percent and 41.5 percent.
