The actual sales revenue of China's self-developed games in overseas markets totaled 11.59 billion U.S. dollars in 2019, up 21 percent year on year, a report said.

Role-playing, strategy and multiplayer online battle arena games were among the most popular in overseas markets, the report said.
By comparison, actual sales of China's self-developed games grossed 189.5 billion yuan (about 27 billion U.S. dollars) in the domestic market, registering a growth of 15.3 percent from the previous year.
The annual actual sales revenue in the Chinese gaming market hit 230.9 billion yuan, up 7.7 percent compared with that of 2018, the report said.
