China's YTO Express reports revenue growth in May

YTO Express Group, a leading express delivery firm in China, saw an increase in its courier business revenue in May.

Last month, the company's revenue from express delivery stood at 2.42 billion yuan (about 341 million U.S. dollars), up 11.56 percent year on year.

According to its quarterly report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company's net profit decreased by 25.74 percent to 270 million yuan in the first quarter.

The courier sector bore the brunt of the COVID-19 outbreak at the beginning of this year, but it has been getting better as the epidemic wanes.
