Dollar rangebound around 106 yen line amid trade issues, Brexit woes

The U.S. dollar was rangebound around the 106 yen line in Tokyo on Thursday as the market mood remained cautious amid ongoing trade issues and concerns over a possible no-deal exit from the European Union by Britain.
The dollar was quoted at 106.10-11 yen at 5 p.m., compared with 106.08-18 yen in New York and 105.73-75 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
During the day, it tracked between 105.83 yen and 106.17 yen, trading most often at the 105.92 yen mark.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1082-1083 dollars and 117.58-62 yen against 1.1072-1082 dollars and 117.48-58 yen in New York, and 1.1092-1094 dollars and 117.28-32 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
