Number of China's stock market investors up 1.2 mln in May

The number of stock market investors in China rose by 1.2 million month on month to 204.91 million at the end of May, new data showed.
The increase was down by 4.3 percent from that of April, according to the China Securities Depository and Clearing Co., Ltd.
In the first five months, the country saw an increase of 7.5 million stock market investors, according to the company.
