Beijing reports less real estate investment in 2019

Beijing's fixed-asset investment dropped by 2.4 percent year on year in 2019, with the investment in real estate development down 0.9 percent, according to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics.

The statistics do not include that from rural households.

Investment in culture, sports and entertainment increased 77 percent, that in health and social work by 49 percent, and that in scientific research and technology services by 27 percent.
