Indonesia's economy contracted 2.07 percent in 2020, the country's Central Agency of Statistics said on Friday.
Agency head Suhariyanto said this figure has included the calculation of the GDP in the fourth quarter of 2020 which declined 0.42 percent compared to the previous quarter and 2.19 percent year on year.
"There are improvements, although not as expected," said Suhariyanto.
The Indonesian economy began to contract in the second quarter of 2020 by 5.32 percent due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
