Juneyao Airlines Star Alliance partner

SHANGHAI-BASED Juneyao Airlines yesterday joined Star Alliance as it expands globally to meet the rising demand of Chinese travelers. 

The privately owned carrier joined the world’s largest airline alliance as a “connecting partner,” which allows smaller regional carriers to sign up with the alliance without paying full membership fees. It can share codes, passengers and mileage programs with other member airlines.
