Founder Securities net profit more than triples in H1

Founder Securities, a brokerage based in central China's Hunan Province, posted a 270.89 percent growth in net profit in the first half of the year.
The firm made 763 million yuan (about 108.79 million U.S. dollars) in net profit during the Jan.-June period, according to its filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Business revenue grew 55.17 percent to 3.59 billion yuan in the first six months of the year, with earnings per share at 0.09 yuan.
The company attributed the profit hike to stock market recovery in the first six months of 2019.
