Consumers' purchasing behavior and psychology is a kind of reflection of integrated factors. It will be influenced by many factors such as social value of surrounding people, population environment, language and preferred communications, marketing and changes of awareness, and so on.
Consumers experience several stages during purchasing process, information receiving, attention to products, familiarity of products, memory and finally purchasing.

Consumers' purchasing psychology does not end after purchasing behavior. They would actively collect product usage information. If satisfied, they would continue to purchase, if not, they would complain and shift brand or end usage behavior. So understanding consumers' purchasing behaviors will largely save cost of maintaining consumers.
