China's stock market investors tops 200 mln

The number of investors in China's securities market crossed the threshold of 200 million as of February, industrial data showed.
China's securities market attracted more than 1.41 million new investors last month, bringing the total number to 200.15 million, according to the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited.
The number of new investors marked an increase of 6.82 percent from the previous month, the data showed.
Individuals accounted for the majority of new investors, exceeding 1.41 million, while new institutional investors stood at 2,700, according to the data.
