China's road logistics price index rose in February from the same period last year, industrial data showed.
The index came in at 99.2 points, up 1 percent year on year, but down 0.9 percent from the previous month, according to a survey jointly released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the Guangdong Lin'an Logistics Group.
The economy continued to recover in February, but due to the Spring Festival holiday, business activities slowed down in February and thus the demand for road logistics eased slightly from the previous month, according to the survey.
China's road logistics price index is based on the average price in the last week of December 2012, with the monthly index starting point at 100.
