China Vanke property sales increase in March

China Vanke Co. Ltd., one of the country's major property developers, saw sales rise in March.
The developer said in a statement that its contracted property sales totaled 62.84 billion yuan (about 9.57 billion U.S. dollars) last month, up 14.4 percent year on year.
In March, the company achieved a contracted sales area of 4.3 million square meters, up 13.6 percent year on year.
For the first three months of the year, the company's contracted sales rose 30.16 percent year on year to 179.47 billion yuan.
