OPEC daily basket price increases to 56.80 USD per barrel

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) daily basket price increased to 56.80 U.S. dollars a barrel on Tuesday, compared with 55.13 dollars on Monday, according to OPEC Secretariat calculations released Wednesday.
The OPEC basket, also known as the OPEC reference basket of crude oil, is a weighted average of oil prices from different OPEC members around the world and an important benchmark for crude oil prices.
