JD.com to host forum on e-commerce

JD.com will host a forum to discuss the e-commerce channel of the import trade, the online shopping site said yesterday.

It will also use the forum during the China International Import Expo to be held in November in Shanghai to show its latest smart retail and logistics capabilities as well as analysis on the domestic consumption trend of imported goods.

JD.com aims to work with imported brands on their entry into the offline sector by tapping its retail infrastructure and logistics network to meet consumer demand for overseas products.
