The International Red Cross & Red Crescent Pavilion welcomed its 700,000th visitor, Jerry Leaman from the United States, last night.

Qiu Hailing, deputy director of the pavilion, presented him with souvenirs. At the end of his tour, Leaman made a donation to the international humanitarian organization.

The pavilion has a three-part exhibition, "Dark Memories", "Light of Humanity" and "Your Move," showing some of the major disasters in recent years, the relief efforts by the Red Cross and Red Crescent Socities, and international support to their causes.

The entrance of the Red Cross & Red Crescent Pavilion looks like a white tent, the most common sight of the organization's relief actions. The tent sends the powerful message of being "on site" and "in action" when disasters occur.
