The information on the development of China auto industry of August issued by China Automotive Technology and Research Center on September 1 indicated that from January to August, production and distribution of Chinese vehicles amounted to 10.9145 million units and 9.4569 million units, up 35.45% and 31.53% year-on-year respectively, thus being a good situation of development in general.

Data showed that in August, the nationwide vehicles production reached 1.2042 million units, down 2.74% from a month earlier while up 10.15% from a year earlier; and the distribution of vehicles 1.2155 million units, up 15.09% from a month earlier and up 55.72% from a month earlier, and consequently, the vehicles industry of China realized a strong rebound after weathering 7-month downturn of vehicles sales and has entered the peak season ahead of time.
