Data of the National Bureau of Statistics indicated that from January to February, the total retail sales of consumer goods accumulatively stood at RMB2.5052t, up 17.9% year-on-year, up 2.7 percentage points from the same period last year and 2.4 percentage points of 2009.
In terms of the location of operating unit, over the period, the urban retail sales of consumer goods accumulatively came up to RMB2.0748t, up 18.4% year-on-year; and the rural retail sales of consumer goods RMB430.4b, up 15.5%.
For consumption pattern, the catering revenue accumulatively amounted to RMB280.6b, up 17.3% year-on-year; retail sales of commodities RMB2.2246t, up 17.9%, of which retail sales of commodities of the enterprises (units) above designated size stood at RMB871.1b, up 29.2%.
