Jiangxi recently issued the Interim Provisions for the Establishment of the Mechanism of Multi-Channel Compensation for Grass-Roots Medical and Health Institutions to adopt the mode of "multi-channel compensation" compensation to establish the multi-channel fund guarantee mechanism to boost the zero profit sales of basic drugs.

The provincial finance this year allocated RMB180m fiscal capital for the compensation for the zero profit sales of basic drugs and commenced to explore the establishment of the mulit-aspect compensation mechanism of finance and medical insurance funds, mainly consisting of medical insurance compensation, risk compensation, incentive compensation, reward compensation, compensation for basic construction and pharmaceutical affairs compensation to make up for the shortage of fiscal capital compensation.
