'Ribbon' will greet visitors in front of Czech Pavilion

A unique architectural spiral resembling a ribbon will appear in front of the entrance to the Czech Pavilion, providing a preview show of Czech and its pavilion and simultaneously functioning as a refuge from sun and rain.
Through the ribbon, the operators hoped to unfold a pleasant journey and provide maximum care and comfort for visitors waiting to enter.
The interior wall will be covered with an artificial lawn. Four screens will provide information on Czech and the Expo itself.
The winning works of youth with the theme "In 20 years, what will make my city and life better" will also be on show.
The spiral is 29 meters long. Its front part can be moved for safety reasons.
The capacity of the 2,000-square-meter Czech Pavilion is up to 3,500 people per hour.
