“Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone—Wisdom Project” officially kicked off recently, which is a foundational project on the basis of the state’s strategic Planning for Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone.

Jiangxi telecommunication departments will make great efforts to push forward the construction of the intelligent systems of ecological protection, transportation, low-carbon industries and social operation to provide strong power and support for sustained development of the eco-economic zone.

Jiangxi branch of China Telecom introduced that last December, the Planning for Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone was approved by the State Council to be the state’s strategy.

Jiangxi Telecom, thereafter, in accordance with the requirements of the provincial Party Committee and Government and the Planning, took the lead to release the program of constructing “Poyang Eco-economic Zone—Wisdom Project”.

The department will invest more than RMB3.6b in the upcoming 3 years to speed up the construction of 3G mobile, wide brand and other networks and applied platforms in the area of Poyang Lake to satisfy the demand of informationization and intelligentization in the development of the eco-economic zone.
