In 2010, Xinjiang will raise new energy, new materials and other industries to be strategic emerging industries to boast the autonomous area’s optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure.

Priority will be given to such industries as new energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, coal chemical, electronic information and energy conservation and environmental protection.

With a batch of key technologies restraining the growth of strategic emerging industries to be broken through and a batch of industrial clusters with outstanding agglomeration to be formed.
