
North Putuo Film and Television City, located at sourth suburb of Beijing, is know as a large and multifunctional film culture city integrating tourist sightseeing, films shooting, films training, conferences reception and culture communication. Following CCTV Wuxi Film Art Center and Zhuozhou Film Art Center, it was a newly established film shooting base characteristic of Ming & Qing Dynasty style of architecture.
Location and Features
It is located in Nangong Village, Daxing district which is direct 16km away from the Imperial Palace and has an area of 300,000 square meters. In the center, it covers the garden of A Dream of Red Mansions, North Putuo Temple and other ancient and elegant architectural buildings. Tourist sightseeing is the main business scope of the film center. The splendid gate, Luohan Mountain, and the flourished North Putuo Temple have brought a high reputation in the tour world. The unique memorial of A Dream of Red Mansions written by Cao Xueqin covers more than 20 scenic spots with 50 peculiar wonders which will show the visitors a particular graceful bearing of North Putuo Film and Television City.
