Liwan Plaza, situated on the Shangxiajiu Shopping Street, is a modern commercial/apartment building of which the six floors lower floors are used for commercial purposes. In Liwan Plaza, crystal is mainly semi-precious stones, 70% of businesses come from Haifeng Ketang, and the rest from Donghai,Jiangsu province and other places. There have more than 10 thousand kinds of products sold here, include: Silver products from Haifeng Meilong, Shenzhen and Dongguan, Crystal raw material from Haifeng Ketang, Turquoise from Hubei, Man-made gemstones from Wuzhou, Opal from Fujian, Pearls from Zhejiang Beihai, and so on. Businesses here are mainly wholesale of manufacturers and self-employed persons.

The crystal market in Liwan Plaza has developed into a large scale crystal market gradually since 2001, becoming a national professional crystal market, it is also the largest crystal market in Southeast Asia. Now, Liwan Crystal Plaza occupies 90,000 square metres, is operated by as many as 3,000 companies and stalls, with a annual sales of  RMB 4 billion to 5 billion yuan.
